Training and Education

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in the state of Washington with a Master’s degree in Social Work from SUNY Stony Brook, New York. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies from University of Colorado, Boulder. I am certified in Hypnotherapy through Bastyr University, and also have level II EMDR training and level II Reiki certification. Additionally I have done training and conduct ongoing education and research with the University of Washington in MABT (mindful awareness in body-oriented therapy) through a grant with NIH (National Institutes of Health). I have begun training in the Hakomi process, in the direction of certification and am constantly inspired by new opportunities for continuing education, awakening and opening to new understanding of neuroscience, healing and the body. I participate in ongoing professional consultation and collaborative  training opportunities for growth.

My ongoing training and exploration beyond certification has in many ways shaped and enhanced how it is that I offer my work today and these are some of the most instrumental aspects of these continued explorations. I cannot begin to list them all as I am a devourer of learning and new understanding but these are some of the most influential the the past few years.

2018- Present. Thomas Hubl; Mystic, Guide, Teacher I have been studying with Thomas Hubl since 2018 and have been a member of the Mystic Cafe which is a bi-monthly global community of practice and have attended multiple immersive workshops with Thomas on ancestral healing practices, collective trauma and working with the practice of deep attunment.

2019-2022 Judith Blackstone/ Realization Process work: Extensive workshops in the somatic practice and work of the realization process and unfolding of Fundamental Consciousness work under the teachings of Judith Blackstone.

2020-2021 Liberated Being, Studied with Brooke Thomas in a year long immersive training which offered practices with exceptional teachers in Realization Process, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement, and Compassion Cultivation.

2021 - Present The Mythic Body with Joshua Schrei - I attend bimonthly Patreon study groups exploring culture through a mythic lens.  I will study with Josh in a small group year long The Mythic Body course, which focuses on cross-cultural mythology, animism, mythosomatics, storytelling, invocation, and devotional ritual practice beginning in October of 2023. 2023 Singing the World to Be with Josh Schrei + Peia Luzzi - A deep dive into the mythosomatics of invocation, with a focus on traditional Irish songs.
